“You guys get paid for me putting my body and my life on the line, not fair in no way.” Those are the words of some college players that feel used for money. College athletes should not have to feel like that , for they should be paid for the job they do on saturday evenings and nights. College athletes should get a paid when they play on tv, wearing clothing brands, and for putting themselves in danger.

College players deserve a small cut of the millions of dollars the schools and coaches are making from endorsements, tv stations, and from the stadium they pack every weekend. When college basketball comes around and march madness sneaks up, a lot of money if tossed and sniffed in the air. The college athletes receive scholarship money to go to school and get a education, live on campus, and get food. That still doesn’t mean they should entertain for free , put money is gramblers pockets, bring their university billions of dollars and can’t even touch 1,200 dollars of the billions they make. Their scholarship money doesn’t compare to the money they make to just play in one game. The money that is made from one March Madness game is more than quadruple of a college athlete scholarship. College sports bring big money to their university. Ticket sales, tv, alumni donations, and more other sales made to the schools bring up to a combine of about 6.1 billion dollars. 6.1 billion dollars can be split to college athletes, because when you pay off the athletes you still will have at least 5 billion to work with. With all this money being made by the colleges, the TV stations, merchandisers, the advertisers, and the coaches, many a college player has posed the question, "Where's my cut?" (PR, Newswire.
