Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card is a Science Fiction novel published by Tor Books. Orson Scott Card is an American book author. He has written over 50 novels and has won many awards, including the 1986 Hugo and Nebula awards for best novel for the book Ender’s Game. His book even got a book to movie adaption in 2013. If you are interested in reading any science fiction book here is a very good one. Ender’s Game is a fantastic book because of it’s great story and this makes it a great read.
In the near future an alien race named the “buggers” invade Earth to colonize it. The humans narrowly win the war and are now rebuilding.The military starts selecting and training only the smartest children on Earth to defeat the buggers. In this select group, we find humanity's best hope six-year-old Ender Wiggin. The book starts with Ender getting attacked by Stilson and his band of goonies. Ender has an altercation with Stilson and beats the crap out of him also killing him. Back home, we see that Ender is getting picked on by his older brother Peter. Still, Ender’s older sister Valentine is there to save Ender from Peter. Word gets a round of what Ender did to Stilson, and Colonel Graff comes and recruits him to battle school to train him to fight the buggers. At battle school, Ender is made out to be the best in his class and by doing this Colonel Graff ensures that Ender never gets the opportunity to make friends. Colonel …show more content…

The books manages to tell a very well crafted story, while not using many types of settings. The author used great writing techniques which made you want to keep reading. The book accomplished to be a great science fiction novel that was entertaining. The story is great even though it is hard to follow it at times. The author had many great story dynamics like Ender trying not to be like Peter or how Ender always figures out a clever way of resolving a problem. Overall I enjoyed the
