Methods e.g. verbal exchanges
Verbal exchanges are vital when communicating, this means that you would have a conversation including both participants instead of a one way conversation. This includes replying and starting a conversation. This would be used in an everyday conversation when talking to somebody, no matter the topic. By doing this you are engaging all the participants because you are giving your opinion or replying to the subject, this is an effective way of communication as it keeps people engaged because you are planning to say something instead of ignoring them. This would most likely be used when you are replying to somebody or conversing with someone using a written format such as email or letter. When writing to others I respect other viewpoints and give my own, this keeps both readers engaged and creates an effective way of communication.
Note taking
It is vital that you note take, this means that you take notes when reading something so you can reference them later for other matters. In some situations it is very important that you take notes when reading something, this is because you may need the notes in the future to reference, this is also because it can help with referencing relevant information instead of re reading the whole written document. This would most likely be used when you need to remember a time or date or some important information for example, for a test or meet up. It is also important that when you take notes, that they are clear and can be understood otherwise it may lead to misunderstanding and confusion. I try to take notes on important subjects as often as I can as they help me remember information, it also helps others who are looking for that information instead of having to reference it from the whole
