Who Am I to Judge? Heterosexism is a discrimination or prejudice by heterosexuals against homosexuality. We all have a sexual orientation and a gender identity. This shared fact means that discrimination against members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer community “LGBTQ”, based on sexual orientation or gender identity is an issue that overtakes that community and affects all of us. There are people who still think that gay marriage should not be legalized, they say it is a sin that there are same sex relationships in this world, and their claim is that God created Adam and Eve to be together, and why the world is excepting those people who are not “normal”, they always put the main reason on religions.
Now most countries legalize same sex relationships, and homosexuals are no longer in danger by law. However, across the globe where my country is, there are many instances where an individuals' sexual orientation or gender identity can lead them to …show more content…

This punishment is a poor deterrent. Most Saudi women and men become gay because it's easier to find the same sex other than the opposite sex. More than half of these young men and women stop being gay or what they think they are after their high school graduation. Some continue until their university years. It is so uncommon to find a homosexual after they finish their studies, because by then most of them are engaged or already married.
Islamic religious police are a kind of police that exist in Saudi Arabia that inforce Sharia law on the community, these police are the ones who apply the punishment on homosexuals. There are high chances of being in danger if one individual came out from the closet. Basically, in Saudi Arabia, there is an enormous closet with people trapped in it. No one is allowed out of that closet. No one, even the parents would know about them. Gays, lesbians, and bisexuals will always be suffocated in this
