Obamacare is an health insurance for people in the United States. It is one of the biggest health plans ever right now. It covers all families for a fair price, help the unemployed, and treats pre-existing diseases. Obamacare protects you just in case of any emergency. It protects people from getting dropped from their insurance while sick, it helps out with people who does not have enough money for insurance, and it improves medicare coverage. Lots of others says that Obamacare is an amazing health plan to join. Retired NBA player, Magic Johnson, says Obamacare is working. According to the Affordable Care Act government website, Obamacare has helped more than twenty million people get new health insurance including people who never had health insurance. People all over the United States have signed up for Obamacare because it lowers the cost of insurance. This insurance premiums offered by Obamacare have many different health plans including: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. The bronze plan have the lowest premiums and provide for tax credits because it covers 60% of cost sharing value known as ‘Actuarial Value’. The silver plan is the second lowest premium which provides for tax credits and subsidies ,but covers 70% of cost sharing. The gold plan provides for tax credits, have high premiums, and good cost sharing of 80%. The platinum plan have the highest premiums and also provide for tax credits which cover 90% of cost sharing. Obamacare makes it easier for people under 26 that are on their parent health plan because they do not have to but it themselves until they are released from the plan.
