Yes, there is long term effects like it affects the brain development, and when people use marijuana as teenagers, the drug may reduce thinking, memory, and learning functions and affect how the brain builds connections between the areas necessary for these functions. Marijuana's effects on these abilities may last a long time or even be permanent but if the people are told this and know what it can do to you it should be legal like cigarettes because cigarettes have long term effects too but it's still legal, no cigarettes won't get you high but it can give you cancer; Did you know, there are zero deaths by overdosing weed, that's right, zero.
