Ethical Issues In Slaughter Home

My issue is the public view of animal welfare in slaughter houses. Many large company slaughter houses are found to be unethical in their practices, such as the transportation, and handling of livestock before and during the harvesting process. Some key background issues include the different processes of harvesting and the ethical handling procedures that take place within the slaughter houses. A few other background include the recent changes in the past few years to each slaughter house resulting in new issues or complications. These changes are the different methods of harvesting the animals, and the different handling techniques used to move and transport the livestocks. My topic of animal welfare bring about many interesting and debatable topics. Many people do not completely understand why the procedures take place. Along with that, many people do not completely understand the concept of animal welfare and the different aspects. For example, they do not comprehend the new techniques on handling during the harvest process.

Another realistic perspective on this issue is that the stunning of animals is not correctly done and the animals are not completely dead when they begin the slaughter process. Some constraints are that they animals are not being fully killed before they go to slaughter, and that is inhumane and above all unethical. PETA is one of the leading animal humane organizations has written many articles on the ethical treatment of animals in the slaughterhouses.
