I thoroughly concur with you when you say it is wonderful working with children. It is a rewarding job. I am exceptionally fortunate to have them around me and I know they cherish me around them. I work with infants and toddlers and simply the fact that most of them cry when I leave the room, or if something is wrong and they are not happy, they look for you for help make me understand how important I am to them. I understand that you are afraid especially to get attached to them. I get attached to them as well and I cannot help it but I got much better at it.
