Perhaps, that is why he rarely talked about the country of his birth, or the location of the farm, or the family he left behind. His grandchildren called him ‘Foxy,” meaning smart as a fox, but to him a fox was a chicken thief. Thus, he thought his grandchildren disrespected him and asked to be called Dzeidek. When I was in high school, I threw hay with him.

Cory: Good morning, I would like to thank all of you here for coming to support my family and me as we grieve over the death of my father, the beloved Troy Maxson. I originally was not planning on coming here today, but I decided that my heart does not have enough room for any regrets. My father was no angel and because of that our family suffered through many hardships, but for anyone of you out there who hold a grudge against him, I ask that right now, you forgive hime, jsut like I had done ten minutes ago when I stood infront of the Church’s Doors. I want everyone to understand, that no matter how high he put himself on the pedestal, he was human and just like the rest of us in this room he made mistakes. He had no example of what a true man
Donny Hallmark I have the privilege of Celebrating with you the life Donny Hallmark, not simply as a minister of the Good News, but as his nephew by marriage. I also had the privilege of conducting the funerals of each one of his siblings, Charles, Betty, Barbara, and William. After each memorial Donnie would say to me, “Promise me you will do my funeral, I want to be sure you will say nice things about me.” It kind of makes me wonder what he was worried we might say.
I've always thought to myself, is childcare really that important? Do we as staff at a childcare facility really make that much of a difference in lives around our communities? Over the last year or so I’ve managed to prove to myself that childcare really is important and it benefits peoples everyday lives. Childcare is important because we all play a big role in children’s and their parents lives.
There was a guy named Daryl, who was an honest, churchgoing fellow and lived with his mom. All of his money vanished in the stock market and he only had about a hundred dollars set aside. He desperately needed to find a way to get a job. He ventured out to make and sell cartoons. His first night he wrote out his plans and got ready to draw, then realized how tired he was, so he went to bed.
My love for John Holbrook has no limits! I can’t wait for us to get married and finally have a house of our own. I already planned everything. Our house will be on Broad Street, it will have two floors and a small garden where I will be able to plant everything I want! It does not matter if I have to scour the whole house, it will be worth it.
Personal Mission and Vision: I have wanted to become a counselor for many years and the reality is that counseling is deeply intertwined with trauma work. In fact, oftentimes it is the same thing! My motivation for entering this field is my own positive experience with therapists walking alongside myself during times of my own personal trauma. On the flip side, I also feel motivated by the therapists that have failed to support me adequately. These experiences highlighted just how impactful counseling can be and I want to be part of that support in the most positively impactful way that I can.
On May 14. 2017, I hope to get married to my high school sweetheart in Miami, FL. I chose that date to get married because both I and she want to finish our degrees before we settle down. Our relationship started back in middle school, so our bond is very special. I see her as my life long partner and I could not see myself being with someone else.
I am always feeling grateful. I have always had good health, I have always had a roof over my head and shoes on my feet. I 'm blessed with a family that since always they have put me and my needs before themselves and their needs. My family and I we come from property and we are not ashamed of it. All the money my parents and grandparent made was for me, to feed me, to buy me clothing and toys.
Coping with the loss of someone or something you love is one of life’s biggest challenges. Often, the pain of loss can feel overwhelming. The pain of grief can also disrupt your physical health, making it difficult to sleep, eat, or even think straight. These are normal reactions to significant loss.
Today, I had the opportunity to spend time at Moreland Daycare in the infant room. I enjoyed the day with infants. It was an eye opener for sure, most people including myself think that working in an infant room at the day care would be a day full of loving on babies, which you do get too. There is a lot more to it than that though, such as having multiple babies upset at one time. It can become very stressful, when having to try and figure out why each baby is crying, and once you figure it out you must try and meet their needs rather it be multiple diapers needing changed or them needing to be fed or just wanting to be held.
