From how to discipline to what colors work best in the classroom, she has taken her knowledge over the years and gave it to me, something I will forever be thankful of. Throughout the next chapter of my life, I hope to graduate college, to begin working at a school, and to feel content with my life choices--something my grandma has taught me to do. She constantly reminds me that happiness is the key to an enjoyable life and that along with love, nothing else matters. While I know a career choice is a decision for one to make alone, I believe her influence on me throughout my lifetime has definitely played a role. From her teaching me the basics of reading before kindergarten to going on college tours with me as a senior, her grandmotherly instincts have no doubt influenced my future plans.
