Evaluate Client Progress Is important to provide adequate services to our clients in order to see if the services are making a difference in their lives, if programs need to keep improving, or what changes to be implemented to make services better. Evaluating client progress consist of maintaining communication with the client and accountability it also provides an ongoing reviews of how the services are benefiting the clients (Department of Human Services, 2011) The evaluation of client progress also consist of the amount of progress the client has made from the beginning to the current level. Defining progress in clients really depends on the target population for the Panhandle Promise Project this could be define as how the child has change before and after the intervention of the program. Changes in behavior, feelings towards having a mentor and family, and school performance. Measuring the progress of the clients could be determined by creating a survey. Gathering all the surveys and preparing data to be analyze helps the professional understand if there are trends in the target population and how the clients feel about the program and services provided. A Likert scale survey provides an easy way for clients to answer question and makes it easier for the professional to analyze data as a percentage (Dudley, 2014b).
