Evolution Vs. Creation “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change” -Charles Darwin. Charles Darwin was a man who started the theory of evolution and is recognized the most for this theory. Darwin’s theory explained the beginning of time and how man evolved over time. There is also another side to this though and that is creation. Many who believe in creation believe in God and that he created everything on earth and created the universe. There are still many holes in the theory of evolution that creation can explain. First off, what is the theory of evolution? For example Evolution states that humans came from apes but the bible clearly says, “God created man in his own image, he created him in the image of God, he created him male and female.” In the bible it also states that it took six days to create the earth; meanwhile evolution says it took 4,500,000,000 years for the earth to be created (Sewell). Also, the bible says that God spoke everything into existence; meanwhile, evolution claims that it was the Big Bang that created everything (Sewell). While Evolution is very popular and explains that there is no need for God all evidence points to him. Even though many people ignore God and do not want to believe in him that does not mean that the evidence is not there. If the earth was billions of years old then everyone would be dead because the earth’s magnetic field is decaying (Answers in Genesis). Carbon-14 would be completely gone if the world was as old as scientist say it is (Answers in Genesis). The moon would be touching the face of the earth because of the gravitational pull, if the earth was billions of years old (Answers in Genesis). God does not only just exist; he has left something in people. According to scientist there is a signature of a creator in every living thing (Strobel).
