True Friendship True friendship is when people are always there for each other, during happy and sad situations. They always care for one another and keep each other out of trouble. They always have a joyful time and joke with each other and always honest to each other about everything. According to this definition, in the book “Of Mice and Men”, by John Steinbeck, George and Lennie have a true friendship. First of all, they traveled together and did everything together. Lennie always protected George and he trusted George like his own life. Lastly, George took care of Lennie in everything. He understood Lennie’s disability and never left him alone because of his illness. He always tried to keep Lennie away from trouble.

Got kinda used to each other after a little while” (40). Therefore, George and Lennie have traveled together for a long time and have been through so many things
