Heros That Aren't Sports Stars
There are over a million people counted as heroes in the United States, but what if people had to pick only one. The topic has been going on for years. In fact the news has been talking about how citizens from other countries have worshiped people that the United States do not think is a good person to worship. “The topic is hard to talk about with other people” says Christopher Klein after speaking in front of a group of about 500 people who did not agree with his opinion about leaders of the world. Many people say that their heroes are athletes, but there are other heroes in the United States who are much more worthy of the title.

The reason most people voted for him was because he passed laws about african american slaves and that is a sign of courage and of heroism. That is a type of hero to people because he did something that will change the world forever and nobody can change that. In an interview by Joseph Hopkinson on August 3rd, 2011, Joseph states that “there are over one million people who can be heros in the United States that are sports stars.” He says “that the hardest part about picking your hero is to explain why.” The reason why it is so hard to state people's reasonings is because they will actually have to research why the person is a good hero because they can't just say that Abraham Lincoln is their hero. People have to actually research their reasons and then you have to understand that just because he did a heroic act or he has something good about him he has to have every quality that a hero needs to have, not just one or two. On a site called “Legends Of America” the author states that “everyone has their own opinions and until we accept that we will never understand each other.” What that means their is that two people could think that Martin Luther King is their hero, but one of the people's opinion could be that they are African American also and they could be bias toward other white people. While another person could be white and the reason they picked him is because they like that he wasn’t afraid to talk in front of people with different opinions and even if he was he still did
