Four of the most important qualities in life are the four pillars of the National Honor Society. Academics, Character, Leadership, and Service are all required in life to be successful, and be an all around good and respected person. Academics are important for a variety of reasons. In order to be an all around and highly successful adult, you must have all the required education and just really be an intelligent person in general. Having a high intelligence can give you the best advantage to quickly and effectively solve problems that may and will occur in your everyday life. A person’s character can tell you a lot about them. It is your mental and moral qualities, and it can affect how you go about a situation or a task. Somebody with a better character can solve issues with patience and grace, unlike someone with a bad character who may not be so patient and might make a point of resolving to insensitive measures.
