I will try to explain the lack of food choices and social justice of low income African Americans. Concerning of the extent to being able to afford Organic food. Many low income people are unable to afford organic food, but it would be nice if they had classes to teach African Americans how to grow their own. Growing their own fruits and veggies would be awesome. I believe that people lack to the choice to buy and eat organic food, because of many factors. The first factor I believe is not enough money “if these people had any money, they wouldn’t be living in the projects after all.” Low income families receives food stamps through the government to but their food. It’s not enough to purchase organic food due to the fact that this food has to feed the family for thirty days and three times a day. I also believe that if the government add organic food voucher to addition to food stamps and as well educate the people about the hazards of eating convention food.
