Is college a better financial choice than joining the military.
So many choices coming up so many life decisions upcoming the real world is coming up fast everyone is needing to make decisions. College is the best option we have all heard it but is that really true? Just because everyone has told you that does make that completely true do some research yourself if you do you will see that the military will pay for 100% tuition for four years. There are many options for people graduating. There are trade schools, colleges, military, strait into the work force What is the best choice? The rising cost of college tuition puts college out for people that cannot live with the student loan payments, the average student debt “tuition has grown by nearly eighty percent between 2003 and 2013 (U.S news) that is more inflation than anything else. The military does have its risks thought, 4424 military causalities have been confirmed from all the branches of the military during operation Iraqi freedom.
The military is very physically demanding and requires a large amount of work mental and physically demanding that is why the military is not for everyone there is major emotional stress having to be away from your families if you join the military there is a chance that you will die. The military is dangerous. The military also gives people the chance to serve their country and protect their families that is why it is a great chance you get chances to travel around the world get thirty days of payed vacation gain respect of your peers grow as a leader chances you will not get anywhere else.
The growth in college tuition could be understood if it was proportional with the growing cost of living or matched the increase in minimum wage. The only plausible option for people going to college is student loans or scholarships many people think going to school and taking out student loans is the only option but the military is the best way on the job training and free college
