I believe we should not have restrictions on school lunches. Feeding kids good food two times a day for five days a week will not kill them. Or maybe it will because some students don’t eat the crappy food. Studies shows cafeteria money as decreased very much since they changed food regulation. Kids are not eating lunch or they are bringing their own food from home.
Why Should Students Bring Their Own Lunch Should students be allowed to bring their own lunch to school? School administration say that students should only be allowed to bring their own lunch only if they have a medical condition or a doctor’s excuse. If students could bring their own lunch, their parents could save money.
In conclusion schools should not change the lunches because they don't have the power to tell students can or can't eat, they don't have the time and money, and finally because they are not allowed to put a limit on how much a student can eat due to the “No Kid Hungry

There are many evidences that shows children who are hungry are not able to focus, so they have a low attention span, behavioral issues, discipline issues in the school. So nutrition is critical for a child 's brain and for concentration and learning at school. Having breakfast and lunch can increase their chances to succeed in school and in life
I also believe that students should be allowed to eat in class, because they need to stay well nourished. Throughout the school day, students often become less focused and eager to stay on task during school. This is becoming an ever increasing problem. This could easily be fixed with a snack throughout the day.
Stress has become a major issue for high school students. Many students have seven classes, participate in sports, have after school activities, homework, and need to get an adequate amount of sleep each night. Some parents and outside influencers don’t see the benefits of having a longer lunch period for high school students. Students complain about how long school is now but they don 't have enough time outside of school to complete everything they are expected to. While it is understandable that some parents wouldn’t want longer lunches because it could result in safety issues and students having to remain in school 30 minutes longer than the traditional time, longer lunches would give students a chance to complete homework, get help from teachers, and eat a nutritious meal.
