In the 1970s the fashion was carefree and diverse, introducing the ‘hippie’ style. This was varied and changed frequently.
The '70s were a time when a myriad of colors and patterns exploded; ABBA and the Bee Gees were taking over, Fonzie was everyone's role model and everything was big. The television sets seemed to take up half of the room and bell-bottom jeans and bell-sleeve tops could double as small parachutes. These flare silhouettes were an absolute staple of the 1970s- everyone and their mama were rocking this fashion-forward trend. The flare silhouette has made an extreme comeback in the fashion world over the past couple of years; whether it be featured in denim, skirts, dresses or tops, it seems that the flare silhouette is a trend that just refuses to die- which I am certainly not complaining about!

It was the starting of the era of Space Age technological innovation, motivated by space journey in 1961; developers began providing style a beneficial and innovative look. The 60’s had a whirlwind of events, such as the Black Civil Rights Movement, the beginning of second wave feminism, as well as an extreme jump in Music, Art and Fashion. These all influenced the design of clothing and the acceptance of things that had never been seen before like the Mini Skirt. ‘DESIGN IS EVERYWHERE’.

The industry was struck with bold statements spoke by men and women with tremendous confidence. Trends of the era were ever-shifting, and all boundaries were crossed, standards deviously defied.
Through the ages the world have been introduced to many different fashion trends. These trends were aimed towards A varying degree of sex,age, purpose, and meaning. In today 's culture they have been adapted in order to fit society 's standards and bring new meaning to life. There were also many trends that were deemed appropriate in their time that if society were to see today, they would rule it out as inappropriate. There are many reasons as why these fashions have been reconstructed in order to make room for the new standards of society and the acceptance of those who pursue these trends.

Countless amounts of videos played and of course everyone wanted to be just like all the famous stars they saw, from Madonna’s lace gloves to Snoop Dogg’s dreads.
