300,000 people die due to global warming every year and 100 million people will die by 2030 (Kofi Annan think tank). According to NASA the ten hottest years are: 1998, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014 (till date). Every one of the hottest years on record has occurred recently. This increase in the temperature of the earth is due to the increasing global warming. The main reason behind the boost of global warming is increased amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. According to the Union of Concerned Scientists, United States of America emit 17 percent of the world’s total CO2 emission. Global warming is a dangerous problem for all the living beings on the earth. Industries contribute the most in global warming by burning fossil …show more content…
Humans invented many things to make their lives easy and comfortable. Firstly, humans started cutting the forests to make land for agriculture, then they invented fire, and after that, humans invented different types of machines and engines that run on coal or natural gas. Deforestation reduce the number of trees and it lead to a reduction in the production of oxygen. Fire and burning of fossil fuels in engines and industrial machines releases greenhouse gasses into the environment. These all small steps of humans against the nature lead to a huge problem of global warming. From hazardous effects causing potential loss of life, injury, or other negative health impacts, to the potential exposure of social, economic, and infrastructure assets to adverse impacts, global warming places vulnerable human lives and systems in dangerous …show more content…
According to him, use of biofuels will drive the price of food beyond the reach of poor. He argues that it is difficult to use these sources to generate energy that can be made usable. He claims that equipment that are used to convert these sources in proper form of energy are expensive and fragile. But, climatologists say these equipments can save money that is lost due to the natural disasters. By using the eco-friendly sources of energy, they can reduce the chances of natural disasters and save far more money that spent on these
