In Julius Caesar written by, William Shakespeare, we can see the different ways that Brutus is the tragic hero. A tragic hero is someone, who is usually noble, that makes an error in their judgement which ultimately comes back to haunt them. We can see that this is the case from Brutus because he makes a bad judgment decision. Brutus was a noble man that was well-respected and spoke very well. His great friend Julius Caesar was getting too tyrannical and he had to do something about it.
Augustus was a famous Roman Emperor. He ruled from 27 BC tell 14 AD. Augustus was the original founder of the Roman Empire. Augustus was born in 63 BC with the name of Gaius Octavius Thurinus. His name was changed to Octavian after his adoption in 44 BC.

The exact year of the empire’s start is debated, but many believe emperors began ruling in 31 B.C., following the victory at Actium (History.com Staff). In this world, there are many people that can become other-directed and live their lives according to what other people want them to do, not what they please. Julius Caesar was definitely not a phony, and was an inner-directed person. Caesar controlled the Roman Empire the way he chose, and nobody told him what to do, or there would be serious consequences. Without his courageous actions and leadership, the Roman Empire would be nowhere near where it got to without him. Julius Caesar was one of the most influential and famous leaders in Roman history.
This does not necessarily mean he cannot be a tragic hero. Only having one characteristic just means a character with more tragic hero qualities would be a greater bet. Based on Aristotle’s characteristics of a tragic hero, some would believe Brutus is the tragic hero. Brutus possesses over half of the tragic hero qualities rather than Caesar. “The Tragedy of Julius Caesar” teaches people to never make judgements until they have experienced the same situations that other people have.

Three major things happened in his life, he became emperor, he established rome's imperial system, and his assassination. These are the major things that happened in his term.

Cassius’s quote is saying, if Caesar is not killed, then he will kill himself, but if Caesar is killed he will not kill himself. This example of Cassius not compromising shows just how stubborn he is and how he will only settle for what he thinks is the right thing to do.

After Decius leads Caesar out of his home and to the capital, Caesar argues with the conspirators about the status of Publius who is currently banned.

Tragic hero is usually the main character in the story which his/her wrong choices that are due to their personality cause their downfall. The heroes downfall is one of the saddest moments in the story. When I was thinking of a tragic hero that I know, name of a few characters from movies and a few from real life came to my mind. One of the most famous tragic hero that I know is Steve Jobs.
In conclusion, Julius Caesar was more of a villain than a hero. He never thought about how his choices would affect his citizens and the people around him and only cared about gaining wealth and power for himself. While others paint him as a hero, Caesar was indeed, a
