Football Coaching Great oppurtunitys Become a coach is a great oppurtnity to teach kids in and out of the classroom. When teaching a kid and becoming a role models in there life will you make you feel like a hundred bucks. A coaching job is not a job for everybody. It is a very diffucult and time consuming job. A coach on the average works a 12 hours a day in season and gets paid about $48, 907 a year. So it becomes a hard job while having a family. To become a High school football coach you will need a 4 year Bachalor’s degree at minimum. To get looked at more it would be smart to get a Masters degree in sports management or a subject such as a masters in Science, Mathmatics, …show more content…

The internship can show you very vauable skills to become a head football coach or become a football coach. The internship will also give you incredible experience to put on your resume when you will be applying for a coaching job.

How to get a internship First step to getting an internship is finding the sport you want, in this case it would football. The second step is decide when you would like to do your intership, The summer, during your time in college, or after graduation. You will most likly talk to the coach that you would like to intern with and all the details.

Salary
The salry of a high school football coach is on average of $98,668. As a head coach you may or may not have to become a teacher and teachers make about $55,221. So adding that up it would be exactly $153.889.
As a coach it is not about the money it is all about teaching and coaching kids. Coaching a young athlete is one of the most hardest job i believe. As a coach you will need to become a role model when helping a kid turn into a man.
