Out of all the topics that have probably been spoken about, mine is probably the most well-known, on top of being the most ridiculed. Gay rights. But why is it ridiculed? Why is that if someone were to ask a random class in this school to raise their hand if they supported gay rights, only three people would raise their hand? I think it’s because most of us think its less about being against gay rights, and more about being neutral. Not involved.
Neutral. What a cowardly excuse. For you who did a speech on police brutality, what does being neutral do? You who did a speech on hate crimes, what does being neutral accomplish? Anyone of you who understands the significance of neutrality, tell us, what does it mean?
