The person I admire as a leader is George W. Bush. He was a great leader as president and even when he wasn’t. He was smart and athletic, he had compassion, and he had wisdom. There are many ways he showed these traits.
George W. Bush was a compassionate leader. For example during disasters he would handle them with love. During 9-11 is a good example. He helped families and honored fallen people. Another example was during Hurricane Katrina. He visited families and helped support families. He was compassionate in law also. Like in one case of the death penalty. He tried to delayed it for someone. He tried not to do it but he had to do it. He was also compassionate towards children. One example is the children's’ education. He dealt with the situation over time and did not rush into it but talked about it with the senate and congress. He also showed wisdom in how he dealt with the death penalty. He tried to show mercy to people. He also tried to give mercy and tried to delay the trial. On one of the trials he had a hard decision to make. He knew he had to do it even though the person changed. He had to do it to show violence will not be accepted. He showed wisdom in education too. As a kid he had lived in Texas and he saw that there was not a lot of good education. He knew kids needed education and tried to make it available to a lot of them. He also had a reason why too. One reason was to have people like him and also have people vote for him. That is how George W. Bush showed
