Today, there is an everlasting rise of concern for our world’s climate. Since 1906, our world has been increasingly getting warmer. The ice caps are melting. Penguin and polar bear populations are declining. Droughts are lasting longer. The sea levels are rising. Land masses are decreasing but what is the problem? Our world produces a lot of extra greenhouse gases, but what categories produces the most greenhouse gas? According to US EPA pie chart the biggest contributors to US greenhouse emissions was electricity at 30%, transportation at 26%, industry at 21%, commerical and residental at 12%, and agriculture at 9%. The biggest root of the problem is the use of fossil fuels as a source of energy for our energy demanding needs of the twenty-first century (4). Fossil fuels could be described as a fuel that contains hydrocarbon natural resources that are not derived from plants or animals. The liquid form of fossil fuels is oil. The gaseous form of fossil fuels is natural gas and the solid form is coal. The United States gets 81% of its energy from fossil fuels
