Climate change has been a major topic that has been discussed over the past years because the scientist has seen that over the years the Earth’s climate has been increasing because of greenhouse gases (GHG). Due to the climate slowly rising above the normal level it should be our environment has started to take a change for the worst. We are experiencing hotter weather, more droughts, and more fires within our country. Since the Earth is getting hotter that means the snow that we have I around the world will start melting and start causing the sea levels to rise. As our economy sees growth the higher education system has not been able to keep up with the economy. Projections suggest that the state will continue to need greater numbers of highly educated workers (PPIC, pg. 18). In 2030, if current trends persist, 38 percent of jobs will require at least a bachelor’s degree (PPIC, pg. 18). But population and education trends suggest that only 33 percent of working-age adults in California will have bachelor’s degrees by 2030—a shortfall of 1.1 million college graduates 9PPIC, pg. 18). That means about 5% of working age adults won’t have the required education that is needed in order for them to get the job that will be available during those times. Starting with climate change I know California is doing its best to help reduce emissions but its only one state I need the whole world to get on board and start making major changes so we can fix this crisis that we have put ourselves in. I’m most worried about this because all the damage that will take place from climate change I will experience in my lifetime and surely future generations like my kids will experience the effects of it as well. I’m trying to leave the Earth as good as possible so future generations can lavish in the pleasures that the Earth
