Wouldn’t you be frightened if the President of the United States didn’t believe in climate change? Donald Trump a businessman as the president has been critical of the concept of climate change. However, reliable evidence shows that climate change is happening every day with every emission of carbon dioxide.

A majority of the inhabitants of the world is dependent upon industrial activities, which has caused increased levels of carbon dioxide emissions. Pruitt has signed a proposal to repeal the Clean Power Plan, which was an Obama administration policy that combats global warming by reducing carbon emissions from power plants. According to “How Scott Pruitt’s EPA is Erasing Obama’s Climate Change Legacy” published by Chris Amico stated that Pruitt’s actions to repeal the plan because the Obama administration had exceeded its executive authority in crafting the Clean Power Plan. Power plants are a major factor that increases the carbon dioxide emissions, which would increase the concentration of greenhouse gases. An increased concentration of greenhouse gases would lead to a stronger greenhouse effect, which would result in a warmer planet. Trump has made clear that he is not a believer of global warming.
