Should congress consider climate change?
Should congress consider climate change, would it make the situation better or worse? Based off the article “PRO/CON: Should congress consider comprehensive climate change laws?” By Kraft and Morris, the government would save money in the future if they were to lower the emissions for greenhouse gases. Therefore, it has been proven that the congress depleting laws cannot be changed till 2020, and congress needs to develop better laws. Soon, congress needs to change congress laws.

Congress and Trump want to change laws sooner than they are allowed to. Although, “Because they don't attack the climate-change regulatory problem at its root, Mr. Trump's orders will not provide enough clarity to U.S. energy companies -- particularly electric utilities and coal-mining companies -- for their long-term business forecasting or short-term capital investment and head-count planning”(Tice 1). But, when the time comes to change the laws and leave the Paris agreement legally, it will happen and the Congress will have better laws.. In reality, to change laws we have to wait, but they will change.
Despite, having to wait to change laws for climate change, Trump needs to show he cares. Trump has been warned, this is a dangerous arrangement to mess with, and when he does he has to show he cares and will make reasonable actions. “Addressing the 2009 endangerment finding head-on would show trump seriously about challenging climate-change orthodoxy” (Tice 1). If Trump can go through with this, and continue to leave the paris agreement he could very well have a better chance of being reelected in 2020. Furthermore, Trump needs to show he cares about the laws, he will be changing deals with climate
