Bears Are Us Paul and Pete have been life-long friends who attended college together studying wildlife biology. After they graduated from college, they both took salaried positions within the U.S. Forest Service. During this time, they decided to dedicate their spare time to understanding and appreciating the protection of grizzly bears. Paul and Pete have formed a recognized partnership, by doing business under the fictitious name of “Bears Are Us”. Although they lack written documentation, the joint management of the organization involves collecting donations, conducting presentations, selling books and prints, writing articles, and actively promoting other events related to the protection and benefit of the grizzly bear.

Gang engages in organized crimes claiming ownership over a territory. The Aryan Brotherhood (AB), is the white supremacist prison and street gang and a national organized crime performing syndicate. The AB was founded in 1964 by Irish bikers to provide protection for white inmates in prisons, it is currently the deadliest and largest prison gang in the United States. The estimated number of its members on the streets and in the prison is 20,000 and are guided by their belief strong brotherhood bond of vengeance, not afraid to die for a brother.

Marx Weber Propounded the theory of bureaucracy, to explain a society in chaos on the unset of Industrialization. He was looking for rational bases to explain what was happing in Germany at the time. Weber believed that economic order was important in determining the precise position of different communities, but other factors, under appropriate conditions could influence people’s action in ways not directly derivable from purely “economic “interest. Weber felt that although economic order is important, he thought that rational bureaucracy, rather than class struggle was significant in determining societal action in modern conditions. (Hadden, 1997)

As such there is an extensive organizational chart which is segregated in accordance to province, suggesting grouping by market or geography. This type of grouping demonstrates a keen grasp over of customer based knowledge. Also, this method allows for customer centric (customized) goods, this translates well for Rogers as it can adjust for demand in different provinces accordingly. Disadvantages of this method however include duplication of resources across provinces.
Group Formation, Tuckman’s Model Megan, MO, and I worked this semester towards addressing the housing needs of young adults who identify as transgender. In the forming stage, we focused heavily on getting to know each other and determining the focus of our assignments. Members develop a sense of belonging towards the group and the leader could emphasize on harmony and unity to ensure the wellbeing of the group. This is the stage where the members are finally ready to start working together as a team and strive towards achieving the desired goals. Next, the performing stage emphasizes on problem solving and the completion of the task at hand. Member are committed towards their goals and are able to tackle any issue in a mature ways.
