Grief: The Five Stages Of Grieving

Bereavement is a big problem toward a sudden issue, exceptionally to the loss of individuals or friends and family that have kicked the bucket, when a relationship or close friendship was produced. There are five stages of grief which are denial, isolation, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Despite routinely centered around the passionate reaction to misfortune, it additionally has physical, psychological, behavioral, social, cultural, otherworldly and philosophical measurements. The bereavement process allows people to come to terms with the different stage of grief which are the ability of denial, the beginning of anger, and can cause the problem of depression.

It is another strong emotion that can be directed to the deceased. People may feel bitter at the person for causing heartache or abandoning them. According to the Axelrod he states that “remember, grieving is a personal process that has no time limit, nor one “right” way to do it (Axelrod, 2017). When in the anger stage many can experience many different mood swings and can hurt the remaining loves are them. In this stage one might state if they could have done something differently. It is the belief that this is a defense mechanism to shield one from the heartache of losing a loved one. According the Axelrod states that “guilt often accompanies bargaining. We start to believe there was something we could have done differently to have helped save our loved one (Axelrod, 2017). Bargaining is when others are trying to figure out why thing are happening. After the bargaining stage for the grieving process come the stage of depression where people shut themselves out of the world because of the loss of a loved one.
Depression
Depression is a big reaction that people go through when it comes to having just lost a family member close to them. When people go though this stage they many times send less time with family and friend who may need them. According to Friedman states that the sign of depression are “inability to concentrate, disturbance of sleeping patterns, upheaval of the eating patterns, rollercoaster of emotions, and lack of energy” (Friedman, & James, 2008). When see this sign one should get medical help because this can cause health issue for the grieving person.
