Therefore, leaders should be responsible for meeting employees where they are, rather than vice versa. I plan to implement this theory by spending some time with employees and colleagues to get a better understanding of their needs for growth and improvement. After this I would create a plan that points out areas for improvement and better engagement and would follow that. One quintessential task for healthcare leaders is relaying the big picture and simplifying complexities for employees. This resonates with me because I am actually very good at articulating things in different ways for people to fully understand them. This task is very important because colleagues and employees need to have a good understanding of the concepts and ideas needed to do their jobs and grow in them. It is a leader’s responsibility to articulate and relay information in a way that can be understood by others.
