Leadership and staffing are recognized as important factors for quality of patient care. A positive work environment will increase job satisfaction and staff retention. After interviewing Christine Smith, I believe her leadership style would be labeled as a consensus manager, which is the most transformative leadership style, and is shown to have a positive influence on the quality of patient care.
