Abstract
Henry Ford was a major contributor to history, from then up until now. Ford was a very important man during his time, coming up with the highly successful Model T in his prime time working within the Ford Motor Company he created in 1903 (“The Life of Henry Ford,” n.d.). He married, had a child, and lived out his life to the fullest, with many drawbacks, yet many triumphant discoveries that would branch vehicular life into many new directions in the future
Henry Ford: An Industrial Titan Henry Ford was a historical man of his time. Being born on a small farm in Springwells Township, Michigan, on July 30, 1863, he never would have thought he would be one of the major contributors to vehicle advancements, especially long after he passed away. Ford was the fourth and final child of William and Mary, and outlived the others, becoming the most famous and successful as well. They showed his anti-Semetic views against Jews, which he was awarded for by Hitler in 1938. He was given the Grand Cross of the German Eagle, an award given to Nazis that did not live in Germany. There are certain sections in the articles that do not sugar coat his disliking of the other race, for example, "There is a race, a part of humanity which has never yet been received as a welcome part” (The International Jew, 1920). He is talking about how, to him, Jews are unwelcome here in America. Since the articles caused such a ruckus, he publicly apologized for posting such a racist article; or so everyone thought.
