I’m working at has a bad stigma from the local areas. I have had to defend my job and my students a lot to the community and other teachers. I work with a veteran staff and I have had the opportunity to work with great teachers. I feel welcomed and the principal is trusting in my abilities and has provided me the opportunity to run my own program and I’m still making adaptations to reach all of the students.
I am interested in education and specifically ELL education as a career because in highschool I took Spanish all the way through the highest level offered at my school, dual-enrollment IB Spanish V. Throughout the time spent learning and working on my language skills I have felt very fortunate to have developed my ability to communicate and interact in Spanish. Additionally, a part of learning and being around the language led me to be able to communicate and interact with Spanish-speaking students at my school, including students in the ELL program and international students. I have been able to have great conversations and experiences with these students in classes, at school social events, and outside of school as well.

As a nurse educator, I will express my passion for teaching by incorporating features such as clinical assessments, practical application of theory, evaluation, and role modeling into advanced nursing practice, from previous experiences and current experience and clinical practicum to find success and gratification in students chosen profession as well empowering leaners to develop their own strengths, beliefs, and personal attributes to become a good professional. The concepts of this theory include function of professional nursing, presenting behavior of the patient, immediate reaction, nursing process discipline as well as improvement (Petiprin, 2016). One of the roles of a nurse is to meet the immediate needs of the patient. Patients typically present to a facility with a requirement that should be identified and met by the nurse. The nurse should be able to identify the problematic situation from the patient to be able to address the need for help. The patient develops their perception of events and circumstances based on their automatic feelings and thoughts which causes the patient to have an immediate response.
9. PROFESSIONAL AUTONOMY IN NURSING Nursing has come a long way from being the hand maidens of the physician to having control over nursing knowledge and practice. It now has two essential ingredients of accountability and autonomy. There is more demand from the nurses now than in the past when all they were expected to do was just to provide comfort and care.
Throughout the past 5 years, I have built a successful career as an educator. At this point in my professional journey, I want to test my abilities in a completely new field in hopes of finding a career into which I can flourish and grow. I believe that the knowledge and skills I have developed thus far would serve me well in transitioning to the role of {insert position title} for {insert company name}. In the course of my career, I’ve acquired a number of valuable skills that will help me prosper in this new role.
As a dreamer and queer woman of color, pursuing a career in STEM has been quite challenging. But I have never let anything get in the way of reaching my goals and dreams. I have swam against the current in order to be where I am today, where I have dreamt of being. I am currently a second year student at Trinity Washington University majoring in biochemistry and minoring in mathematics. STATEMENT OF GRANT PURPOSE Stephen Hill, Spain, English Teaching Assistant I wish to undertake an English Teaching Assistant opportunity in Spain to peruse my passion for teaching and training. With the knowledge and experience I will gain from teaching in Spain, I plan to look for employment opportunities within the U.S. state department. Opportunities that would make use of my knowledge and experience with Spain would be of particular interest to me. I have been complimented on my patience and ability to explain concepts in different ways that accommodate multiple learning styles.
Learning such skills should start at university [12,13]. This helps them efficiently apply theoretical knowledge acquired at university in real-world situations where they are expected to solve patient ’s problems [12]. Given that the main goal of education in medical sciences including nursing is to develop professional competence, decision-making skills and problem-solving, nursing education is responsible for creating an environment where students can learn and acquire cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills.
