She claims Republicans put the National Rifle Association (NRA) ahead of American families in regards to gun violence (Alba, 2015). Clinton will call for bans on assault guns and high capacity magazines. While strict background checks are very necessary to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill, holding gun manufacturers liable for crimes committed with a gun is absurd.
