During the early years of the American workforce, women have always been denied the basic key rights as men. Whether possessing necessary skills or not women have were never afforded the opportunity to own property, have legal claim to any money they earned,or vote. A turning point for women's rights came in the late 1880s and 1890s. Women from many different social classes started to initiate big acts of volunteerism. This gave women the push and the edge that was needed to convince the American nation that women had many talents and areas of expertise that could expand far from just the household, that were just as useful and inspiring as men. Hillary Clinton has decided to make Women's Rights apart of her campaign because women, judging by history still have not gotten the rights they deserve. Hillary Clinton has continued to give women all of her energy towards making rights for women equal and fair for women in later years. Since women were given their right to vote in 1920, creating equality for women has not been a priority for any workplace or corporation. Women have suffered in many situations inside the workplace but have never had the opportunity to fight back or bring to anyones attention that their equality should be treated as a right.
