Hitler was a very powerful leader in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Many feel that he started War World II. He was very influential and many of the Germans followed him. Why was Hitler so powerful? Did he use force to get what he wanted? Did he have a big army? Was he a smooth talker? I am going to talk about how Hitler’s leadership affected so many through his speeches, hyperinflation in Germany and Hitler taking over land.

To understand how Hitler got into power, we have to look at how Germany was before World War II. The Germans felt that their land was taken by the League of Nations and that they were left poor, powerless and without defense. The League of Nations felt that Germany should be punished for starting World War I. Many of the Germans felt that they were not the only ones to blame for the war. This book talked about how important it was for Germany to be strong. This is one place where we can see how Hitler used words to gather people around him to follow him. He had a group of people who felt he know what was best for Germany. Hitler continued to inspire people and had a way of making people think what he thought was right. Hitler used his speeches to inspire the people of Germany by giving them hope and a feeling of power and strength. In his speeches, Hitler talked about how Germany needed to unite and come together and work together to build a strong Germany.
