Becoming an EY Scholar serves as an incredible opportunity for all the hard work I have contributed towards my education to be recognized by the employer that I aspire to work for upon graduation. Throughout my time at Hofstra University, I have enjoyed doing well in my courses and learning about all the various areas of accounting. Additionally, I have become involved in several accounting and business organizations on campus, such as Beta Alpha Psi and Tax Society, which have all allowed me to discover many of the opportunities that the accounting profession has to offer. Furthermore, my interest in the classroom and my involvement on campus has helped me build a strong network with my professors and fellow students within the department, who continuously motivate and encourage me to grow and develop, both educationally and professionally. Because of this program, I currently have the amazing opportunity of experiencing graduate courses while still only being an undergraduate student. Since most of the students in these courses are individuals who have already worked full time for a while, I have been able to get valuable advice and insight into their experiences, rather than just waiting to learn about the real-world experience. Therefore, the few graduate classes that I have taken have already begun preparing me for the workplace environment by allowing me to network and construct long-lasting connections with those individuals who already have some expertise outside of the
