Evaluation: This book is a deeply engaging book, filled with tension. The genre is adventure and mystery, and the book is hilarious. It tells you about past and present, and every page is a new mystery. I loved this book because it created suspension, making me want to turn to the next page. It is a very well written novel and is funny at the same time. The characters all are described well and clearly, making it a very moving novel. My favorite character is Stanley Yelnats IV, as he always shows a sense of hope and desire to do something. Whenever he does something, he always sees the possibility of survival or destiny. He also is funny and polite, and he can keep his temper down with ease. He makes the quote that stands out to me the most, “Do you want to dig one more hole?” This quote shows his determination to get what he and Zero were looking for, and get to it first before the Warden got it. Later, they find out it was a suitcase that belonged to Stanley Yelnats
