The thugs went outside of the house and after awhile they left. After seeing how much Lemon Brown adored his treasures, Greg realized that his dad caring so much for him meant everything. Greg now appreciates the lectures about decisions he was trying to make. Greg’s treasure was his relationship with his father all because of Lemon Brown’s story.
One of the most infamous situations, which was one of the first highly publicized police brutality cases, was the murder of Michael Brown. Brown was an 18-year-old man from Ferguson, Missouri. On August 9, 2014, Brown and a friend were walking on a street when a police officer, Darren Wilson, told the two to get on the sidewalk. After this, a scuffle between Brown and Wilson ensued- the details of this scuffle are still to this day unclear. Three minutes from the time that Officer Wilson confronted the boys, Brown was shot dead (Dodge.)
Darren Wilson had said that when he was trying to fight stand his ground against Michael brown that Michael brown was completely overpowering him, he compared it to a five year old trying to hold back Hulk Hogan. Darren Wilson had said that Michael brown hit

Michael Brown was a suspect in robbery of a convenience store. Michael brown was walking down the street with his friend Dorian Johnson when he was shot to death by officer Wilson. According to CNN Dorian Johnson stated Brown and himself were walking in the middle of the street when a white male approach them and shouted to get on the sidewalk. The young men refuse then the officer drove forward almost hitting the pair.
However, there is no death penalty in the United States for such an offense, but Wilson gunned down and killed the young man. The incident has provoked a serious controversy about the police brutality and civil rights in law enforcement in a number of localities in the United State, grasped the global
Wilson is Dennis’s neighbor. He tries to control Dennis when he is misbehaving. Though, sometimes it doesn’t work out. Mr. Wilson stepped in a bucket of paint and his pet ran away because of Dennis’s actions. Dennis isn’t the only one who has someone who tries to discipline him.
We have gone backwards in time yet again, for Michael Brown, a young black youth, has been gunned down for the color of his skin. Times of injustice and hardship have hit the town of Ferguson, Missouri, in a big way. In a quaint suburban area of St. Louis, where the incident occurred. Michael Brown, described as a quiet, gentle giant, was fatally shot by Officer Darren Wilson, a white
Shortly following the shooting of Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager, by a white police officer, Darren Wilson, the Department of Justice conducted an investigation. On March 4, 2014 the report of the Investigation of the Ferguson Police Department was released to the public, where they uncovered a pattern of racial bias, excessive force, and constitutional violations. One of the key findings of the report is the prevalent racial bias within the FPD. The report provides multiple examples of discriminatory behavior, with African Americans disproportionately targeted for traffic stops, citations, and arrests. This pattern can be seen through the language used by the officer in official statements and from the DOJ’s observation of the police
But in the case under discussion, officer Wilson came up with fatal shots that resulted in the death of Michael while on the other hand mere charging with the baton got Gore suspended. In both the cases unjustified use of force is evident and makes the case of officer Wilson an example of extreme reactional use of force. The real reasons that made officer Wilson shoot 12 rounds on Michael might never be known. Some describe them as racial discrimination while others argue on stressful life and self-defense upon being charged physically.
Michael Brown’s shooting involves a racial tension between blacks and whites since Brown was unarmed and surrendered. In Ferguson, the majority of people are African Americans, and the majority of police officers are white. On the night of the shooting incident, Brown was walking home and confronted by Wilson because Wilson thought Brown was suspicious. There was a struggle between Brown and Wilson. According to Brown’s friend, Wilson started the fight.
Officer Wilson proceeded to make a call to the dispatchers about the two men (What Happened). Following the call, Officer Wilson positioned his S.U.V to block the two men as well as traffic (What Happened). During this time, several witnesses reported seeing an altercation between Officer Wilson and Mike Brown (What Happened). Despite there being various witness stories as to what happened at the time of Mike Browns death, DNA proved that there was some type of exchange before Mike Brown was shot (What Happened). Examiners found Browns blood or other DNA outside the driver’s door, outside the left rear passenger door, inside the driver’s door, on the left upper thigh of officers Wilsons Pants, and
Eventually an altercation broke down between Zimmerman and Martin which ended in Zimmerman pulling out a gun, shooting Martin, and killing him. This incident is an example of racial profiling gone wrong because Zimmerman saw an African American teenager and assumed that he was a criminal.
Michael Brown isn’t the only one, Oscar Grant was murdered in the hands of a white police officer. There was no reason
However, Wilson uses violence under much more extreme conditions. For instance, when he is talking to Michaelis about Myrtle’s death, he says “It was the man in that car. She ran out to speak to him and he wouldn’t stop”(87). This quote shows that Wilson believes the driver of the car that killed Myrtle was performing an act of murder. This revelation and earlier discovery of his wife’s affair pushes him to the brink of reality, and he believes there is no solution other than to avenge his wife’s death.
