Hedy Lamarr was a female inventor who changed advanced technology today. Hedy Lamarr impacted the world with her frequency hopping invention, but the invention didn’t get accepted by the U.S navy. The invention was the first jam-proof technology that was made. The frequency hopping she made did have a big impact on the US navy. After the wide spectrum, they took advantage and made it into WIFI, and to this day WIFI is here. With this invention, the Army now has WIFI, BLUETOOTH, GPS, HEADPHONES, PHONES, and missiles. After Lamarr died she got famous for her invention, and today people call Lamarr “ The Mother of Wifi” because of her invention. Also when Lamarr died she got credit for her invention because before she died nobody accepted her d her invention and didn’t care for it until she died. Hedy Lamarr’s invention impacted the world with new technology such as WI-FI, Bluetooth, and more… Her invention did lead to something else; actually, WI-FI led to us having wireless cell phones and computers. The military declined her invention back then but now they are using the advanced technology that was once before an invention that got declined by the military. The invention did a huge impact on us today with the frequency hopping invention. Hedy Lamarr was important to history because she was an actor and an inventor who tried to make the military a better place. Yes, this is relevant today because we have WI-FI and new technology that was created when Lamarr was alive. Lamarr fits the frontier of history because she did something amazing for this world.
