Dr. King is best known for his Christian based beliefs in using nonviolent civil disobedience during the civil rights movement. The south poblation thought they needed to do something. Racism is something that still exists today in America. By now people would have thought that we would have exterminated it. People risked their lives so they can stand against their government to produce change. Change can only be acquired if people take the necessary actions.
