The 1960's and 1970's period was one of America's greatest spark in society. America went through many tragedies and many downfalls through the diversity of races. but still managed to ameliorate this. These time periods were America's greatest impact in the civil rights movement. There were many great leaders who deeply impacted society through the civil right movement, but in my perspective minister and civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr was one of society's greatest aid for equality. I choose him because he influenced many people and leaders to stand up for equality and peace. In 1963 he was in a march involved with more than 200 thousand people for equal civil rights, and delivered one of the most memorable speeches to America.
