This new information makes mass killing a smoother, more efficient, and effective process. The way that these test subjects were handled and cared for was unimaginable. The first center to run these experiments was in Brandenburg, Germany. This facility is responsible for the death of 9,772 souls. Certain criteria were to be met in order for these people to be a part of the tests. It first started with observing and testing on children under the age of three with chronic illnesses or disabilities, whether it be mental or physical. In conclusion, the T4 programs were set up to find the most efficient and effective way to kill large groups of people at once. This program initially was scouting for children under three years of age with some kind of mental disability and was then widened to find Jewish adults with disabilities and chronic illnesses.
