I am reading The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan and I am done with the book. This book is about a quest of trying to go save Annabeth, Artemis who both have been captured by the General. There are five people chosen for the quest, but the main character Percy Jackson is not chosen for it. He goes anyways and they run into many troubles along the way but eventually save Annabeth and Artemis. Unfortunately there are some casualties along the way. In this Journal I will be talking about how Nico Di Angelo is in search for his identity, how Percy is searching for the truth, and predicting what will happen after the book. He is trying to find out if his dream about Annabeth being held captive by the general is true. Percy had a nightmare about how after Annabeth fell of the cliff she was cheated by Luke and help captive “Luke rolled free, gasping. “Thanks,” he managed. “Help me hold it,” Annabeth groaned. Luke caught his breath. His face was covered in grime and sweat. He rose unsteadily. “I knew I could count on you.” He began to walk away as the trembling blackness threatened to crush Annabeth. “HELP ME!” she pleaded. “Oh, don’t worry,” Luke said. “Your help is on the way. It’s all part of the plan. In the meantime, try not to die.’” (Riordan, 72). Another person named Zoe had a similar dream that same night that was affiliated with Percy’s. In the dream, instead of Annabeth being held captive, the Goddess Artemis was being held captive. Percy asks the oracle if this dream is true, but it does not give him a direct answer.
