INTRODUCTION
Servitude is a gift belonging to me since a youthful age. Joy I receive stems from being allowed the opportunities to witness people taking action in bettering themselves. I can recall talking about nutrition as far back as middle school and presenting on topics within the field. Enjoying exercise and reading articles about healthy food choices were other signs influencing my decision to study food and nutrition. Undergraduate studies are equipping me for future service as a registered dietitian. Since my entry into The University of Alabama, my focus is solely dedicated to helping sufferers’ of eating disorders and disordered eating patterns.

Starting the private practice in 2005, she emphasizes preventing disordered eating. Prior to the opening of her private practice, Julie worked in clinical nutrition and community nutrition. Earning a certificate in biblical counseling, clients can receive this service for free if interested. The aura in her office gives clients a feeling of safety and genuineness. Bethany Wheeler, RD, LD, works for Kennesaw State University in the Center for Health Promotion and Wellness. Acquiring the position in 2011, she experiences relationships with students on campus by providing private, individual sessions, cooking demonstrations, and other forms of health promotion. I will make a minimum of two presentations during the professional study. I will give a thirty-minute presentation under the supervision of Julie Brake for the academy’s national nutrition month. I will do an agreed upon cooking demonstration under the supervision of Bethany Wheeler.

2. Two presentations accompanied by supporting materials.
3. Two preceptor evaluation forms.
4. Two sets of audience evaluation forms.
II. I will create a minimum of two nutritional handouts during the professional study at Kennesaw State University.

2. Research of foods and facts suitable for the agreed upon topics.

III. I will attend and assist in a minimum of two educational classes during the professional study at Kennesaw State University.

1. Cooking demonstrations with RD at KSU by assisting in answering questions from students, setting up a demo, and cleaning up after the demo.

IV. I will observe and complete a minimum of four case studies during the professional study at Positive Nutrition.
