Since I was a child I have been asked what I want to do when I grew up. Truth was I never really knew. What I wanted changed over time from working with computers, to be an engineer. The only real constant that I had was wanting to help others. Despite the change in what I wanted to pursue the fact never changed that I wanted to do was help people. Going through high school I wanted to be an engineer to help those who had disabilities but the passion faded. After a few years after high school and the birth of my son I begun to think on this question seriously. I looked back at all my experiences and it came to me I wanted to do some work in health care. There was an issue with this I cannot see as well as I need to ignorer to be a doctor, specialist, nurse or otherwise. So what was I to do? Well it came to me I can help those that help others by become a management professional in the health care field. That is how my journey began to become better not only for my son but for others as well. The next ten years will be a long journey but I have a plan and will see it out. Many of the skills for a particular job are learned on the job. So I plan to listen to what people say and considered their ideas along with using my own knowledge obtain through my degree and life to lead the best that I can. At in the same notion my education won’t stop there for no one should truly think they have learned all that they can. I will be going for my masters after six months of being on the job. First giving myself time to settle in the position before taking on a larger task. I plan to look into the pros and cons of online school and campus schooling to determine the right path for me and new schedule.
