Thursday, September 14th during class my fellow classmates and I had the honor of interviewing a new teacher whose name was Mr. Ian Cole. Throughout the interview I was able to learn through a teacher's perspective, what teaching is and all the different aspects of it as well. Since Mr. Cole believes that all children are able to learn no matter their differences, he decided the test aching profession would be right for him. Changing the lives of students and showing them what it feels like to have a teacher who cares is something Mr. Cole wants to pursue. Cole stated that “All students are different so there will be several different perspectives. Therefore, it is important to teach in a way that is diverse.” When planning and delivering instructions to his students he is able to more easily meet their needs by evaluating all the ways that they may interpret the criteria. He can then create a proper learning environment in which he is able to discuss the varieties of learning styles, interests, and abilities which are found within his classroom. Mr. Cole also makes himself available during his free time to all students as well. He also uses devices and impractical techniques to help assist the students. Mr. Cole will record himself while teaching the lessons to the students incase students may need to hear the lesson again. I learned that not everyone is going to comprehend everything the same way. So, there will be times where you must go over material, modify assignments and allow there to be other options available for
