Some people drink alcohol to enjoy the moment, make memories with friends, get rid of stress from work, or escape from the past or present. People normally visit bars, restaurants, and clubs to get rid of stresses after work, or school at night. Many people continue to drink in other locations after 2.a.m. Regulating time does not matter to people who have a strong desire to enjoy their time with others and alcohol. Unfortunately, people search for illegal places, which serve alcohol after 2.a.m., to party and could get in the trouble any time. Some cities, including Chicago, Washington D.C, New York City, Buffalo, Las Vegas, Miami Beach, already extended alcohol serving hours beyond 2 a.m. According to one supervisor in Alabama, “I have no problem with it, but people do tend to get a little crazier after 2 a.m.” (Smith). Drunken people do crazy things. Drunken people get in brawls, drunken drivers accidentally kill people, and girls have been raped or abused by drunken attackers. These abnormal and crazy events happen due to alcohol. Extending last call at 4 a.m. might be better for people who want to have fun until midnight in safe places, but some people, who want to hang out after 4 a.m., have a high chance of going crazy and they are hard to control.
