Isaac Newton was well known physicist and mathematician. He was recognized for his discoveries during the scientific revolution. He developed principles that are now used in modern Physics. Due to his great discoveries, he is credited as one of the greatest minds during that time. Isaac Newton was raised in Woolsthrorpe, England, he began his professional career in 1668 in the field of optics, and lived the final years of his life near Winchester, England. Newton attended college at Cambridge, where he studied the regular curriculum, but he took great interest in advanced sciences. After graduating, the plague that hit England caused Netwon return to his hometown to continue his studies. There he made some good discoveries in optics that brought attention to other scientists (bio.com). Through his recognition, he found what would be his professional career. In 1687, Isaac Newton began writing one of most famous books called the Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, which stands for Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy. It took him eighteen months to complete it and is said to be one of the most influential books in science history (bio.com). Written in his book is his famous laws of motion.
