Jake Greenberg: A Logical Candidate for the Jefferson Award
Youth need strong leaders because they need to learn how to do the things they are interested in and if they don't get help in it they will never learn how to do it. The Jefferson Award is given to people who help other people. An individual worth noticing is Jake Greenberg who was a coach for youth baseball. Multiplying Good should give Jake Greenberg the Jefferson Award because he is a very happy helpful person and helps in coaching youth.

In “The Sport Journal,” Jefery L. Frost states, “Specifically, 17 characteristics were proposed, and the coaches rated them 1 (least important ) to 5 (most important), for three distinct levels of play, Little League, high school, and college. Also, Jake Greenberg was coaching baseball on a very hot day and everybody was moping and kind of sluggish. Jake motivated the team and they tried their best to practice harder. This supports the idea that Jake Greenberg deserves the Jefferson Award because he used motivation as the key to helping the team get better. Furthermore, Beau Fisk says that Jake is “Hardworking and dedicated to the team,” and Beau also said, “He helped motivate me to be a better 1st baseman and helped me get better at my scoops by dedicating a little bit of time to help me.” Beau states that “This illustrates that he is always helping us and wanting to help us and never stands around and waits for things to happen. He just immediately takes initiative.” Jake Greenberg has motivated many people to find their potential in sports and even out of sports. He has helped children with their playing skills individually while also teaching the whole team how to do it. That could have long-term effects if they keep pursuing their dream of
